Governor Brown to Meet with Mexico’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs Ahead of Next Week’s Trade Mission to Mexico

SACRAMENTO – Ahead of the Governor’s Trade and Investment Mission to Mexico next week, Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. will join Mexico’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs José Antonio Meade Kuribreña at a luncheon hosted by the California Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday in Sacramento.

When: Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Members of the media must check in between 12:15 and 12:30 p.m. and will be seated at 12:40 p.m. Remarks will begin at approximately 12:50 p.m. A media availability will follow.

The Governor’s Mexico Trade and Investment Mission will begin on July 27, 2014 and conclude on July 30, 2014. Governor Brown will be joined by a diverse delegation of California government, business, economic development, investment and policy leaders on the trade mission, which is being organized by the California Chamber of Commerce. The trip will focus on boosting direct investment in the state, expanding bilateral economic and environmental cooperation and connecting California businesses with new opportunities and partnerships.
