SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. today announced he has signed two bills – AB 50 by Assemblymember Jerry Hill (D-San Mateo) which exempts San Bruno residents from paying state taxes on disaster relief funds received after the pipeline explosion last September and AB 36 by Assemblymember Henry T. Perea (D-Fresno) which conforms state law with federal law to allow tax exclusions or deductions for employers providing health care coverage to dependents under age 27.
