LOS ANGELES – Seven and a half years after taking office and inheriting a $27 billion budget deficit, California Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. will tomorrow join legislative leaders, including Senate President pro Tempore Toni Atkins, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon and budget chairs Senator Holly J. Mitchell and Assemblymember Phil Ting, in Los Angeles to sign his final state budget that fully fills the state’s Rainy Day Fund and boosts education funding to an all-time high.
