SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced that he has signed the following bills:
- AB 1041 by Assemblymember Marc Levine (D-Marin County) – Bay Area Toll Authority and oversight committee: conflict of interest.
- AB 1888 by Assemblymember Rudy Salas (D-Bakersfield) – Peace officers: basic training requirements.
- AB 1941 by Assemblymember Reginald Byron Jones-Sawyer, Sr. (D-South Los Angeles) – Misdemeanors.
- AB 2197 by Assemblymember Frank Bigelow (R-O’Neals) – Custodial officers.
- AB 2349 by Assemblymember Phillip Chen (R-Diamond Bar) – Humane officers: authorization to carry a wooden club or baton.
- AB 2800 by Assemblymember Kansen Chu (D-San Jose) – High school athletics: California High School Coaching Education and Training Program: heat illness.
- AB 3124 by Assemblymember Richard Bloom (D-Santa Monica) – Vehicles: length limitations: buses: bicycle transportation devices.
- SB 1496 by the Committee on Governance and Finance – Validations.
- SB 1497 by the Committee on Governance and Finance – Validations.

The Governor also announced that he has vetoed the following bills:
