SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. issued the following statement regarding today’s vote by the Santa Clara Valley Water District Board of Directors to support WaterFix, California’s effort to modernize the state’s water infrastructure:
“Simply put, this courageous decision will help two million Santa Clarans have a more reliable water supply.”
Last month, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Board of Directors also voted to support the WaterFix project in full.
