SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today issued proclamations declaring special elections for the 45th and 54th Assembly Districts and the 29th Senate District of the State of California on June 5, 2018. The primary for the 45th and 54th Assembly Districts’ special elections will be held on April 3, 2018.
The text of the proclamations is below:
SPECIAL ELECTION PROCLAMATION
BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
I, EDMUND G. BROWN JR., Governor of the State of California, do hereby proclaim and order that a special election shall be held on the 5th day of June, 2018, within the 45th Assembly District of the State, to fill the vacancy of the office of State Assembly Member from that district resulting from the resignation of Assembly Member Matthew M. Dababneh.
