UPDATED: Governor Brown to Swear In Xavier Becerra as California’s Attorney General Tomorrow

SACRAMENTO – Following today’s state Senate confirmation vote, Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. announced that he will swear in Xavier Becerra as California’s 33rd Attorney General tomorrow in the Assembly Chamber, ahead of his State of the State remarks. Xavier Becerra will hold a media availability in the Governor’s Press Conference Room following the Governor’s State of the State remarks and post-address responses.

“As Attorney General, Xavier will be a champion for all Californians,” said Governor Brown. “I look forward to swearing him in tomorrow before my State of the State address.”
