Governor Brown to Attend Peace Officers’ Memorial and Wildfire Awareness Week Events on Monday

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. will participate in Sacramento area events on Monday as part of the 2016 California Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony and to kick off Wildfire Awareness Week with state fire and emergency officials.

California Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony
Following a private ceremony for honored families, Governor Brown will participate in the Walk of Honor and speak at the Enrollment Ceremony:

When: Monday, May 2, 2016 at approx. 10:30 a.m.
Where: The Walk of Honor will begin on the West Steps of the California State Capitol, Sacramento, CA 95814. The Enrollment Ceremony will commence upon conclusion of the procession, at 10th Street and Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA 95814.
