SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the following appointments:
John Dagorret, 62, of Corning, has been appointed to the 30th District Agricultural Association, Tehama District Fair Board of Directors, where he has served since 2007. Dagorret has been owner at Olive City Auto Parts since 1999 and at Dagorret Trucking and Dagorret Custom Harvesting since 1985. He was co-owner at Dagorret and Son from 1971 to 1987. Dagorret is a member of the Rotary Club of Corning. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Dagorret is a Republican.
Farrell Shatswell, 81, of Red Bluff, has been appointed to the 30th District Agricultural Association, Tehama District Fair Board of Directors, where he has served since 2003. Shatswell served as a deputy sheriff at the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office from 1960 to 2003. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Shatswell is a Republican.
