Governor Brown Issues Legislative Update


SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced that he has signed the following bills.

• AB 166 by Assemblymember Beth Gaines (R-Roseville) – Department of General Services.
• AB 359 by Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez (D-San Diego) – Grocery workers. A signing message can be found here.
• AB 553 by Assemblymember Tom F. Daly (D-Anaheim) – Insurance: corporate governance: insurance holding companies.
• AB 566 by Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell (D-Long Beach) – School facilities: leasing property: construction contracts.
• AB 592 by Assemblymember Mark Stone (D-Scotts Valley) – Juveniles: proof of dependency or wardship.
• AB 607 by Assemblymember Bill Dodd (D-Napa) – Real estate trust fund accounts: bond requirement.
