Governor Brown to Swear In Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar and Leondra Kruger to the California Supreme Court

SACRAMENTO – Following the inauguration of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr., he will swear in Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar and Leondra R. Kruger to the California Supreme Court in Sacramento on Monday, January 5, 2015.

When: Monday, January 5, 2015 at approx. 12:30 p.m. Media must check in by 12:20 p.m.

Governor Brown nominated Cuéllar and Kruger to the California Supreme Court earlier this year. Today, Kruger was confirmed by the Commission on Judicial Appointments, composed of Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye, Attorney General Kamala D. Harris and senior presiding justice of the state Court of Appeal Joan Dempsey Klein. Cuéllar was confirmed by the commission in August.
