Governor Brown Announces Appointment

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the following appointment.

John Loudon, 68, of Colusa, has been appointed to represent the second district on the Colusa County Board of Supervisors. Loudon has been planning commissioner at Colusa County’s Second Supervisorial District since 2009. He was an outside sales manager at Norcal Restaurant Equipment from 2000 to 2012, owner of The Refuge from 1992 to 2000 and regional education development executive at Apple Inc. from 1984 to 1992. Loudon was a major account sales representative at Sperry Univac from 1981 to 1984, a sales representative at Pertec Computer Corporation from 1978 to 1981, a system analyst at the Computer Machinery Corporation from 1976 to 1977 and an operations and programing manager at Systems Data Processing Corporation from 1969 to 1976. Loudon is a member of the Colusa Golf and Country Club board. This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $59,004. Loudon is a Republican.
