Governor Brown Issues Legislative Update

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced that he has signed the following bills.

– AB 2074 by Assemblymember Roger Hernández (D-West Covina) – Recovery of wages: liquidated damages.
– AB 2082 by Assemblymember Brian Dahle (R-Bieber) – Forest practices: resource conservation standards: stocking standards.
– AB 2182 by Assemblymember Beth Gaines (R-Rocklin) – Alcoholic beverage control: winegrowers: wine sales event permits.
– AB 2298 by Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez (D-Pomona) – Local agency funds.
– AB 2414 by Assemblymember Philip Ting (D-San Francisco) – Parking facilities: electric vehicle charging.
– AB 2582 by Assemblymember Rob Bonta (D-Alameda) – Public Employees’ Medical and Hospital Care Act: postemployment health benefits: the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District.
– AB 2732 by the Committee on Insurance – Workers’ compensation.
– AB 2743 by the Committee on Labor and Employment – Employment: wages.

Governor Brown also announced that he has vetoed the following bill.

– SB 1046 by Senator Jim Beall (D-San Jose) – Insurance: mental illness: developmental disabilities: coverage: penalties. A veto message can be found here.
