SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the appointment of Jennifer K. Rockwell to a judgeship in the Sacramento County Superior Court.
Rockwell, 43, of Davis, has served as chief counsel at the California Department of Finance since 2008. Rockwell served as a deputy attorney general at the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General from 1999 to 2008. She served as staff counsel at the California State Treasurer’s Office from 1996 to 1999, where she was an executive fellow with the Center for California Studies at Sacramento State from 1995 to 1996. Rockwell earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis. She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Troy L. Nunley. Rockwell is registered without party preference.
The compensation for this position is $184,610.
