Governor Brown Appoints Danielle K. Douglas to Contra Costa County Superior Court

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the appointment of Danielle K. Douglas to a judgeship in the Contra Costa County County Superior Court.

Douglas, 40, of San Francisco, has served as an assistant district attorney at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office since 2013. She was a deputy district attorney at the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office from 2000 to 2013. Douglas earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Missouri Western State University. She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge William M. Kolin. Douglas is a Democrat.

The compensation for this position is $181, 292.
