Governor Brown Issues Statement Following Senate Action to Suspend Three Senators

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today issued the following statement after the California State Senate’s vote to suspend Senators Leland Yee, Ron Calderon and Roderick Wright:

“Given the extraordinary circumstances of these cases – and today’s unprecedented suspensions – the best way to restore public confidence is for these Senators to resign.”
