SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the appointment of Dean Benjamini to a judgeship in the Riverside County Superior Court.
Benjamini, 47, of Bermuda Dunes, has been an assistant public defender at the Riverside County Law Offices of the Public Defender since 2013. He was a partner at Benjamini & Benjamini APC from 2005 to 2013. Benjamini served as a deputy public defender at the Riverside County Law Offices of the Public Defender from 1994 to 2005. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Sacramento. He fills a vacancy created by the conversion of a court commissioner position on January 23, 2013. Benjamini is a Democrat.
The compensation for this position is $181, 292.
