Governor Brown Appoints Ethan P. Schulman to San Francisco County Superior Court

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the appointment of Ethan P. Schulman to a judgeship in the San Francisco County Superior Court.

Schulman, 56, of Mill Valley, has been a senior counsel at Crowell and Moring LLP since 2013, where he was a partner from 2009 to 2012. He was a partner at Folger Levin and Kahn LLP from 2008 to 2009 and was director and associate at Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Robertson and Falk PC from 1984 to 2008. Schulman earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Ellen Chaitin. Schulman is a Democrat.

The compensation for this position is $181, 292.
