SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. will mark Native American Day tomorrow by joining his Tribal Advisor and over 100 delegates representing more than 50 California tribes at a Tribal Leaders Forum at the State Capitol.
Following the forum, a public celebration commemorating Native American day will be held on the South Steps, where tribal flags from 40 California tribes will be flown.
Last week, Governor Brown issued a proclamation declaring September 27, 2013, as Native American Day in the State of California.
