Governor Brown Appoints Timothy J. Stafford to Orange County Superior Court

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the appointment of Timothy J. Stafford to a judgeship in the Orange County Superior Court.

Stafford, 69, of Laguna Niguel, has been senior litigation partner at Wilson Harvey and Browndorf LLP since 2013. He was an attorney and senior partner at Stafford and Associates from 1992 to 2012 and a partner at Stafford Ballog and Sullivan from 1986 to 1991. Stafford was an attorney and partner at Beam DiCaro D’Antony and Stafford from 1977 to 1985. He was an associate attorney at Beam and DiCaro from 1975 to 1976 and at Ruston Nance McCormick and DiCaro from 1972 to 1975. Stafford earned a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Francisco. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Richard W. Stanford Jr. Stafford is a Democrat.

The compensation for this position is $178,789.
