Governor Brown Issues Proclamations Declaring Special Elections for 45th Assembly District and 26th Senate District

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today issued proclamations declaring special elections for the 45th Assembly District and the 26th Senate District of the State of California on November 19, 2013. The primary for these special elections will be held on September 17, 2013.

SPECIAL ELECTION PROCLAMATION BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

I, EDMUND G. BROWN JR., Governor of the State of California, do hereby proclaim and order that a special election shall be held on the 19th day of November, 2013, within the 45th Assembly District of the State to fill the vacancy of the office of State Assemblymember from that district resulting from the resignation of Assembly Member Bob Blumenfield.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of California to be affixed this 1st day of July 2013.

SPECIAL ELECTION PROCLAMATION BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

I, EDMUND G. BROWN JR., Governor of the State of California, do hereby proclaim and order that a special election shall be held on the 19th day of November, 2013, within the 26th Senate District of the State to fill the vacancy of the office of State Senator from that district resulting from the resignation of Senator Curren D. Price Jr.
