Governor Brown Issues Statement on Inmate Reduction Order

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. issued the following statement today on the inmate reduction order by the Three-Judge Panel:

“The state will seek an immediate stay of this unprecedented order to release almost 10,000 inmates by the end of this year.”
