SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the following appointments.
Andrew Alejandre, 25, of Corning, has been appointed to the 30th District Agricultural Association, Tehama District Fair Board. Alejandre has been the creative director for Cave Clothing Brand since 2010. He was a graphic designer at Native Threads from 2012 to 2013. Alejandre was a graphics design intern at Tepa LLC in 2008. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Alejandre is a Democrat.
Joan Kaiser Bell, 83, of Red Bluff, has been appointed to the 30th District Agricultural Association, Tehama District Fair Board. Bell served as an outpatient clinic clerk at the California Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital, Long Beach from 1989 to 1995. She is a member of the California Democratic Party, the Tehama County Democratic Central Committee and the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Bell is a Democrat.
Linda Durrer, 64, of Red Bluff, has been appointed to the 30th District Agricultural Association, Tehama District Fair Board, where she served from 2002 to 2005. Durrer has been the owner and broker of Durrer Insurance since 2005 and a vocational counselor, return to work specialist at Durrer Rehabilitation since 1991. She is a member of the Tehama County Democratic Central Committee and Rotary International. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Durrer is a Democrat.
Jorge Lomeli, 41, of Corning, has been appointed to the 30th District Agricultural Association, Tehama District Fair Board. Lomeli has served in multiple positions at Bell-Carter Olive Co. since 1993, including lead mechanic and mechanic. He is a volunteer equipment captain at the Corning Rural Fire Department. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Lomeli is a Democrat.
Greg O’Sullivan, 52, of Red Bluff, has been appointed to the 30th District Agricultural Association, Tehama District Fair Board, where he served from 2004 to 2008 and 2002 to 2003. O’Sullivan has been an independent consultant for economic development and grant writing since 1996. He is a member of the California Association for Local Economic Development and the Team California Economic Development Council. O’Sullivan is a member and consultant at Upstate California Economic Development Council. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. O’Sullivan is a Democrat.
