SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced that he has signed legislation to improve public health and safety and protect California’s natural environment.

• AB 549 by Assemblymember Wilmer Amina Carter (D-Rialto) – Recycling: electronic waste.
• AB 685 by Assemblymember Mike Eng (D-Monterey Park) – State water policy.
• AB 837 by Assemblymember Brian Nestande (R-Palm Desert) – Solid waste: plastic products.
• AB 845 by Assemblymember Fiona Ma (D-San Francisco) – Solid waste: place of origin.
• AB 880 by Assemblymember Brian Nestande (R-Palm Desert) – Ecological reserves: Mirage Trail.
