SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today issued the following statement regarding the death of former Marin County Supervisor Hal Brown. Mr. Brown, who served Marin County for decades, was also Governor Brown’s cousin.
“Hal was a champion for the people of Marin County, to whom he dedicated his life of public service. His concern for the community shined through in all of his actions as a public official and he greeted the greatest of challenges with courage and humor.”
