Governor Brown Acts to Protect State Budget and Strengthen Fiscal Stability

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. announced today that he has signed and vetoed the following bills to protect the state budget and strengthen fiscal stability in California:

The Governor has signed the following bills:

• AB 42 by Assemblymember Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) – State parks.
• AB 187 by Assemblymember Ricardo Lara (D-South Gate) – State Auditor: audits: high-risk local government agency audit program.
• AB 509 by Assemblymember Nancy Skinner (D-Berkeley) – Federal earned income tax credit: notification: state departments and agencies.
• AB 732 by Assemblymember Joan Buchanan (D-San Ramon) – Bond measures: ballot pamphlet: Legislative Analyst: table.
• AB 1369 by Assemblymember Mike Gatto (D-Burbank) – Personal and corporate income taxes: deductions: illegal activities.
• AB 1424 by Assemblymember Henry Perea (D-Fresno) – Franchise Tax Board: delinquent tax debt.

The Governor has also vetoed the following bills:
